  1. The π-shaped rubber fender is designed to have a large compression deformation, high energy absorption capacity, and low reaction force. Its energy absorption capacity is about 10% higher than that of the super arch-shaped rubber fender.
  2. The fender is flexible and easy to install, with various forms such as horizontal, vertical, or combination used according to different dock structures to meet different needs.
  3. The front end of the fender is equipped with an anti-collision board, which has a large contact area and can greatly reduce the surface pressure of the ship’s berthing side.
  4. In front of the anti-collision board, ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE) plates are installed to reduce the friction coefficient between the vessel and the fender, greatly reducing the shear force during vessel berthing, thereby improving the service life of the fender.
  5. After the fender is installed in a combined form, its inclined compression performance changes very little.
